Richard Clark, Jr. - President / Partner
Richard is first and foremost a lover of cinema. This love led him to find New Daydream Films in 2005. Richard wrote, directed, and produced NDF’s first feature film, Serial, which proved to be a vehicle for his visions that allowed him to work in the industry he loves. Richard's second project, New Water, was his first venture in television. Richard wrote, co-directed, and produced the pilot. Richard's current project, Grinder, is receiving a lot of buzz in the industry and is destined to be a major commercial success.
Brian Conlon -Executive of Finance and Distribution / Partner
Brian Conlon has always been passionate about the film business. Brian started his film career with Nancy Mosser Casting, a well-known casting agency in Pittsburgh, PA. After his stint with Moser he worked in the casting department for "The Mothman Prophecies". Brian went on to work in the world of television producing and directing over 20 television shows and commercials. In 2003 he was awarded an Emmy for his work in television. After moving to North Carolina, Brian co-founded "Tell Me A Story Productions". He produced and directed two short films with the company. His short films have been screened in several film festivals across the country.
Kevin Newton - Executive of Marketing & Sales / Producer
Kevin has always had a passion for film. After teaming up with Clark in 2005, Newton produced and served as Production Designer for the feature Serial. He went on to produce New Water, which opened a door full of opportunities for himself and New Daydream Films. He is currently working on his third and most ambitious project Grinder. Kevin’s capacity for NDF is as a Producer and Production Designer.
Kent Allen - Executive of Acquisitions & Development / Producer
Kent Allen has been making films his whole life. After college Kent founded Allen Films, a company that specialized in web-design and filmmaking. Kent has directed and produced several feature and short independent films. His first major accomplishment was an award he received in Los Angeles, California for a horror film that won ‘Best Horror Short’. Kent produced, wrote, edited, and directed the film. Kent’s first work with NDF was as a cinematographer and editor for Serial. Next Kent served as the editor, producer, cinematographer and co-director of the T.V. Pilot New Water. Kent is currently producing Grinder and gearing up for his major directing debut with Patient 27 in which he wrote and will also produce.
Amanda Hoey - Executive Assistant
Amanda started working with NDF in 2006 as assistant director on New Water. She currently serves as executive assistant for the company.
